Please join OTOC at the last City of Omaha Budget Workshop

Monday, August 2, 2010 at 6:30 p.m.

South High School (located at 4519 S. 24th Street at K St. )

The City of Omaha is conducting their last workshop where you can learn about the city budget, proposed tax increases and program cuts, plus some new proposed programs for the city of Omaha .  OTOC leaders will attend the 35-45 minute presentation and meet with key city staff regarding our questions about the budget.  We have submitted a dozen questions to Mayor Suttle and asked that his budget director and key staff meet with us following their presentation. The City Council Budget Hearing is set for Tuesday, August 10, and OTOC plans to present our recommendations regarding the budget at that time.

We will hold our next OTOC City Budget Committee meeting on Saturday, August 7, at 9:00 a.m. in the OTOC office at Augustana Lutheran Church .
